read some news that singtel and starhub are locked in another bidding war, this time for the 2010 world cup broadcasting rights. looks like oneo f them will come up with a ridiculous amount the other can’t afford and get the rights to broadcast one of the world’s most watched sporting event.
thing is, who in the bloody hell will end up having to compensate the bloody bid? us, the stupid brainless consumers who despite being unhappy still gives in and foolishly keep paying and paying and paying.
